In this video I wanted to share little ways in which I have heard the Dutch language being used by its speakers.
I will add that the very first example sentence "weten jullie als wij kunnen krijgen" is not grammatically correct, but I realised this when I was editing and was unable to re-film the video. The point of the sentence is to demonstrate the dropping of the sound rather than teach grammar thankfully..haha.
Anyhow, this smalls differences in language are most common to Amsterdam and that region, Dutch is spoken with a variety of accents and dialects all over the country, that being said I'd love to make a video including all the different ways the language is used throughout the Netherlands.
